-The course of the client's sandplay therapy ran a little under five months in 18 sessions during which she made 12 sandpictures. This case well portrays Jung’s concepts of consciousness and the unconscious, and the bridge-like function of symbols that link the opposite poles of the feminine and masculine. It also clearly shows Kalff’s concept of the constellation of the Self in a safe and protected environment and the development of the ego at the stage of animal-vegetative. Also, through contact with the symbol of the archetypal mother, the client illustrates Neumann’s concept of restoration and healing at the mother-child unity phase and the process of separation/independence from the personal mother as a result.
